Red Hat to introduce KVM memory ballooning in RHEL 5.5 – UPDATED

Red Hat recently launched the public beta of its Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5.5 which introduces the memory ballooning overcommitment technique for KVM.
The beta build finally that was missing in RHEL 5.4. This means that KVM virtual machines will be able to change allocated memory at run-time.
KVM got memory ballooning but only now it appears in an enterprise Linux distribution.

If there is one rumor that tends to come and go and agonizes Windows Mobile fans, it’s the one about a Zune phone. Although it’s not officially confirmed, that Microsoft will be introducing a Zune phone at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this year. More specifically, it will be a with Zune features and capabilities, so it’s not a Zune phone, per se.
