EBay Germany, the global shopping and auction platform’s biggest country market outside the U.S., will soon operate with a fundamentally different business model from all other EBay country platforms. Around mid-year it will follow the example set by e-commerce platform Amazon, and step into the role of paymaster for transactions concluded on the platform, EBay Germany announced today.
